Cotton Twill is woven in a twill structure—yarns pass over and under in an offset pattern to create a diagonal rib (wale). This build gives the fabric a supple drape with body, a smooth hand, and a subtle matte-to-soft sheen. It’s breathable cotton, but feels a touch weightier and more substantial than plain weaves.

Twill is one of the oldest weave families and the backbone of classics like denim and chino. Its durability made it a mainstay for tailoring and everyday wear across Europe and India. Modern mills refine twill with long-staple cotton for cleaner lines, better strength, and consistent finish.

The diagonal wale makes twill strong for its weight, yet comfortable. It creases less than many plain weaves and disguises light wrinkling or marks, so it stays neat through the day. Colors appear deep and even, and prints read crisp thanks to the tight, stable structure.

Naturally breathable and skin-friendly with a refined, structured look. Machine-wash cold or warm on gentle with mild detergent; wash darks inside-out. Line-dry in shade or tumble low and remove promptly; warm iron/steam if needed. Avoid bleach and high heat; slight color release on first washes is normal for darker twills.
